The Patient & Public Involvement in Health Forum covering Cotswold & Vale is holding their next meeting in public on 27th July 2006. The forum would welcome members of the public and representatives from community and voluntary organisations to attend its meeting to raise any concerns or good experiences they may have on any community and hospital health related issues.
The Forum will be discussing and updating on topics in its work plan for this year such as the hygiene visits made to Moreton and Cirencester Hospital. They will also be discussing the local health Trusts consultation on the cost savings proposals for Gloucestershire and the impact this will have on local services, such as Stroud Maternity Hospital. To this end the Forum would welcome attendance from patients, public, carers and voluntary and community organisations to bring to its attention any issues they would wish the Forum to consider. Senior managers from Cotswold & Vale Primary Care Trust have been invited to attend the meeting to help answer questions raised. Staff from the Community Patient Advice and Liaison Service and the Independent Complaints Advocacy Service also try to be present to address any health related issues.
Please use this opportunity to bring any concerns to the attention of the Forum. Alternatively any questions can be forwarded in advance of the meeting to Susan Hill at Scout Enterprises, The Lancaster Centre, Meteor Business Park, Cheltenham Road East, Gloucester, GL2 9QL.
