The Patient & Public Involvement in Health Forum covering Cotswold & Vale is holding their next meeting in public on 21st July. The forum would welcome members of the public and representatives from community and voluntary organisations to attend their meeting to raise any concerns they may have on any health related issues and about recent hospital experiences which went well.
The Forum will be discussing and agreeing some of the generic health issues which will form part of their work plan for 2005/06 and to this end would welcome attendance from patients, public, careers and voluntary and community organisations to bring to the Forum's attention any issues of concern they would wish the Forum to consider. What are your views on the long term usage of your Community Hospitals? Are your local dentists de-registering children from their NHS lists? Senior managers from Cotswold & Vale Primary Care Trust will be in attendance at the meeting to help answer any questions raised. Staff from the Patient Advice and Liaison Service and the Independent Complaints Advocacy Service also try to be present to address any personal issues.
Please use this opportunity to bring any concerns to the attention of the forum. Alternatively any questions can be forwarded in advance of the meeting to Susan Hill at Scout Enterprises, The Lancaster Centre, Meteor Business Park, Cheltenham Road East, Gloucester, GL2 9QL.
