The Department of Health today published a document entitled The NHS Improvement Plan: Putting People at the Heart of Public Services.

The document sets out the priorities for the NHS between now and 2008 and supports our continuing commitment to a 10-year process of reform, first set out in The NHS Plan, in July 2000.
